A customer in the automotive industry required a high-volume precision stamping manufacturer to produce custom cylinder head gaskets for a primary engine line. To ensure maximum durability and seal integrity, the gasket was engineered from two specialized materials: SAE 430 stainless steel and SAE 1010 electro-galvanized steel. Dual-Material Progressive Die Stamping & High-Efficiency One-Stroke Assembly

Utilizing a 200-ton press and our specialized progressive die stamping services, we engineered a custom solution featuring two dedicated feed lines. This setup allowed our team to feed both the stainless and galvanized steel simultaneously, stamping and fully assembling the gasket in a single press stroke.

This innovative approach not only ensured perfect component alignment but also dramatically increased throughput. The finished parts underwent extensive dimensional testing to guarantee a zero-defect rate. At peak production, we manufactured 50,000 gaskets annually for this engine line, proving our ability to maintain precision across high-volume automotive programs.
