Quality Engineer

Objective:
The Quality Engineer plans, and coordinates quality processes in metal stamping plant with ISO 9001. Will be responsible for being aware of impact on product quality and the importance of activities in achieving, maintaining, and improving quality, including customer requirements and the risks involved for the customer with non-conforming product. This candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and initiates methods, procedures, and work instructions for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
  • Devises sampling procedures, designs forms for recording evaluation, and reporting quality and reliability data, and writes instructions on use of forms.
  • Establishes program as required to evaluate capability of production and processing equipment and to meet established performance requirements.
  • Support of the supplier development system as directed by the Director of Quality.
  • Develops and coordinates gauging design and acquisition for new and current products for internal usage.
  • Responsible for Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans and PFMEA for assigned line. Participates in design reviews.
  • Maintains multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Think and act like an owner/entrepreneur. Identify and react to all opportunities that promote our ability to provide value to our shareholders, customers, and employees.
  • Promote our philosophy that all employees are responsible for the quality of the product or service that they provide.
  • Interfaces with all disciplines to ensure that quality systems are established and maintained to provide customers with quality products and ensure vendor compliance.
  • Internal contacts – Cooperates and functions with all levels and disciplines of company personnel on quality and manufacturing issues.
  • External contacts – Contacts and works with customers/suppliers, operators, OEM personnel outside of the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 10 years’ of industry experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools used in the industry.
  • Analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, tool designs, and other technical drawings.
  • Formal SPC, ISO-9001 – IATF 16949, ASME Y145, drawing standards and evaluation, Q.A. systems analysis and documentation implementation.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office/Outlook.

Supply Chain Analyst

Aranda Tooling, LLC. in Chino, CA seeks Supply Chain Analyst. Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and translating supply chain data to direct the allocation of materials and products.

Recommend improvements to optimize logistics operations. Liaise with clients on technical issues and the project status. Support the organization’s supply chain operations by coordinating the movement of raw materials, in-process goods, and completed merchandise to ensure that production needs or customer expectations are met. Oversee day-to-day activities of purchasing, planning (with complex supply chain planning systems), and customer service. Prepare reports to ensure accuracy and ability to manage the logistical function within the company. Utilize advanced data analysis tools to provide should-cost and create cost model accordingly Create detailed simulation models to predict the impact of different scenarios on the supply chain to support strategic planning and decision-making Use Lean Six Signa or similar methodologies to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence within supply chain processes. Responsible for cross-functional projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Responsible for global supply chain management Responsible for contract negotiation and supplier relationship management Present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders using ERP and SCM Systems Identify, assess, and mitigate risks within the supply chain, including geopolitical, environmental, and financial risks

Travel: Position requires up to 10% domestic or international travel. Expenses paid by the employer.

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field and 2 years of experience as Supply Chain Analyst or a related occupation in supply chain and logistics, including any relevant job titles within these occupations, Must also possess 2 years of work experience with (i) utilizing advanced data analysis and statistical tools to assess forecast demand and optimize inventory levels; (ii) global supply chain, including knowledge of international trade regulations, tariffs, and customs procedures; and (iii) ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and SCM software for seamless integration and management of supply chain activities. Must possess 1 year of experience with (i) change management and process improvement; (ii) supply chain activities for launching new product introduction (NPI). Must possess Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies. Salary: $80,000 to $100,000

Technical Project Engineer

Aranda Tooling, LLC in Chino, CA seeks Technical Project Engineer. Apply engineering knowledge and research, design, install or maintain mechanical products, systems or processes to ensure that they meet customer’s technical requirements and engineering standards. Prepare, schedule, monitor and coordinate assigned engineering projects. Liaise with clients on technical issues and the project status. Determine and review clients’ specifications and technical requirements. Confer with other engineers to implement operating procedures or provide technical information. Assign responsibilities and mentor junior project team members. Implement and manage modifications and interventions to achieve project outputs. Project evaluations and assessment of results. Coordinate with various departments to solve technical problems. Create technical drawings, reports and other required documents at each stage of the project, that illustrate the technical progress, track the project progress, or coordinate the work of various departments and suppliers. Responsible for in leading cross-functional projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Maintain the program cost within budget. Track project milestones and deliverables, providing regular status update to stake holders and escalate as required. Assess the impact of changes on program and create strategies to mitigate through potential risks.

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field and 2 years of experience as a Technical Project Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or a related technical position, including any relevant job titles within these occupations. Must possess 2 years of work experience with (i) automation of manufacturing processes; and (ii) New Product Introduction (NPI) from engineering development to product launch in mass production scale. 1 year of work experience with (i) cross functional experience working with teams overseas; (ii) AutoCAD and Solidworks; and (iii) project management tools such as SmartSheet or Microsoft Project. Must possess experience with (i) Program management experience, including P&L and sub-tier supplier management; (ii) trial material planning and logistics schedule management; and (iii) reading and understanding mechanical 2D drawings. Salary: $88,000 to $106,000
