Maintenance Mechanic II

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, with expertise in electrical systems and hydraulics. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring the operational efficiency of machinery within our facility.

Duties

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments and tools, including ohmmeters, to analyze electrical systems and diagnose issues.
  • Perform repairs on hydraulic systems and components as needed.
  • Provide field service support for equipment installations and repairs as required.
  • Operate scissor lifts and other machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems and implement effective solutions and reduce down time.
  • Handle general facility operations (e.g., utilities such as water, electricity, and air supply), including routine inspection and basic repairs.
  • Participate in equipment upgrades and improvement projects by proposing feasible technical solutions.
  • Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance and assist in managing equipment documentation.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, or related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Solid understanding of punch presses, pneumatic components, electrical circuits, sensors, and automation equipment.
  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, hydraulics, and mechanical components.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for diagnostics.
  • Ability to analyze problems effectively and implement timely solutions.
  • Experience with CMMS is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.

Robotics Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Robotics Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics and automation, with experience in vision inspection systems and distributed control systems. This role involves designing, fabricating, and implementing robotic systems to enhance manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with CGMP standards.

Robotics Programmer

Automation Systems Technician with Fanuc Programming experience

To be successful in this role, you must have Fanuc Robotics systems and Integration experience (ideally TPP programming). You must also be able to code from scratch.

  • What The ideal candidate looks like:
  • Independently design and develop robotic systems for various applications within the manufacturing environment. Specifically, develop and modify PLC programs (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley).
  • Independently write and operate FANUC robot programs, supporting automation project commissioning and implementation.
  • Familiar with the electrical control principles and workflows of punch presses and various automation equipment.
  • Understand the working principles and circuit structures of microcontrollers (MCUs) and perform basic design and debugging.
  • Capable of independently selecting electrical components and designing circuits and control schematics according to project requirements.
  • Fabricate components and assemblies using AutoCAD and machining techniques.
  • Program and troubleshoot logic controllers, including Fanuc systems, to optimize performance.
  • Conduct tests and evaluations of robotic systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineering teams to complete the integration, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical control systems.
  • Manufacturing environment experience.
  • Works with management to provide support of projects in the shop. Keep the Robot Programming Manager informed on the project so he can ensure coverage on projects when lead tech is out of the plant on other assignments.
  • Make recommendations for other functional areas to achieve quality improvement or lowering of design and manufacturing costs of our products.
  • Provide inputs to Engineering, Manufacturing, and Management as appropriate to inform them of findings that are significant to designing or developing improved or new products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation or a related field.
  • Skilled in developing structured and reliable programs for Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Allen-Bradley PLCs.
  • Familiar with FANUC robot systems, capable of independent programming, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience with robotics, including programming and system integration. Familiarity with vision inspection systems and distributed control systems is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of automation equipment, microcontroller systems, and electrical components and their applications.
  • Strong hands-on skills, responsible, and able to adapt to on-site working environments with good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willing to work flexible hours or shifts based on project or production needs. Available to work on weekends.
