Laser Cutting & CNC Machining of Steel Lateral Plate for the Alternative Energy Industry

The component shown here is a lateral plate used in an alternative energy application. It is composed of grade 50 HSLA ASTM A572 (M3225A-S96) steel, with overall dimensions of 270mm in length, 210mm in width, and 15.9mm in height. The component was laser cut on our state of the art Amada 4000 watt laser, which allowed us to meet tolerances of + 0.050mm/- 0.000mm. Each part was fully inspected for dimensional accuracy during each cutting, machining process, and prior to shipping. We now produce 500 of these components per month for our customer.
