A customer in the automotive industry needed a high volume precision stamping manufacturer to produce cylinder head gaskets for one of their automotive engine lines. The gasket was made of two materials, SAE 430 stainless steel, and SAE 1010 electro-galvanized steel.

Utilizing a 200-ton press and our progressive die stamping services, along with two feed lines, we were able to feed dual materials, stamp both & fully assemble in one press stroke.  The finished parts were put through extensive dimensional testing and at peak produced 50,000 of these parts for this customer annually.
