A customer in the automotive industry needed a high volume precision stamping manufacturer to produce cylinder head gaskets for one of their automotive engine lines. The gasket was of SAE 430 stainless steel, and SAE 1010 electro galvanized steel, which would have to be stamped simultaneously, to form one part. Utilizing a 200 ton press, we were able to stamp both, creating the full assembly in just one press stroke. The finished parts were put through extensive dimensional testing and we now produce 50,000 of these parts for this customer annually.
