Precision Metal Stamping of a Radiator Frame Assembly for the Automotive Industry

The automotive radiator frame assembly shown here was designed to house the radiator in class 8 trucks for a major automotive manufacturer. The frame components were stamped from 0.250" thick aluminum on our 800 ton press, and then assembled with the use of our robotic welding system.

The finished assembly measured 37.255" in length, and 6.244" in height, with tolerances of + 0.020"/ - 0.000". They also received extensive quality inspections including visual inspection of all welds. We produce 15,000 of these assemblies annually, with the initial order being completed in 14 weeks.
